Resources for being safe in the community from violence and unintentional injuries such as falls, fire-related injuries and drownings that occur in public places; and also protected after the injury occurs by emergency medical systems, 911 emergency response, poison control centers, and trauma care systems.

The Problem


Being safe in the community means being safe from injuries that result from motor vehicle crashes, and falls, fires, drownings, and violence that occur in public places.
